What’s Inside the Box

Market Potential

Each Navigator project begins with a structured examination of the market’s fundamentals — including the estimated TAM/SAM/SOM, current market size, growth trajectory, and demand drivers. Seasonal patterns, saturation levels, and historical vs. forward-looking CAGR are assessed to establish whether the opportunity is expanding, constrained, or undergoing structural change. This foundation creates a clear, evidence-led view of the commercial headroom available.

Customer & Demand Fit

This component analyses the segments most likely to convert, drawing on purchasing behaviours, decision-maker roles, and the specific pains or priorities shaping demand. Willingness-to-pay, localisation expectations, switching likelihood, and trust signals (such as required certifications or relationship norms) are evaluated to determine how closely the product aligns with what buyers in that market actually value.

Competitive Landscape

The competitive environment is mapped across direct and indirect competitors, substitute offerings, and emerging challengers. Key dynamics — such as market share concentration, pricing models, value propositions, and incumbent advantages — are reviewed to surface genuine opportunities for differentiation. Recent activity, barriers to displacement, and established switching costs help define where strategic space exists.

Barriers & Regulatory Overview

This section synthesises the regulatory and operational constraints that may influence feasibility or timing. Relevant laws, licensing requirements, data protection obligations, and ESG considerations are outlined alongside practical barriers such as capital requirements, distribution constraints, and supply-chain limitations. Forthcoming regulatory changes are highlighted where they may alter risk or shift the entry window.

Route-to-Market Options

A comparative assessment of viable distribution paths is included — from direct sales to partner-led models, platform-based approaches, or hybrid options. Channel strength, sales cycles, required local presence, partner roles, after-sales expectations, and typical commercial terms are considered to determine which routes are likely to create early traction and which may require greater resource investment.

The Recommended Path Forward

The analysis culminates in a coherent entry strategy shaped by timing, competitive dynamics, financial viability, and strategic fit. Priority segments, positioning direction, the most credible route-to-market, and key risks are surfaced into a practical roadmap. This includes guidance on whether the moment is favourable for entry, how the opportunity aligns with internal capabilities, and what decisions should be sequenced first to maximise impact.

How We Work Together

  • The engagement begins once you confirm you’d like to proceed. You receive an Engagement Charter outlining the scope, strategic questions, and boundaries of the work, along with the Contract covering timelines, confidentiality, data handling and the fixed fee.

A 50% Deposit Invoice is issued at this stage. Payment secures the project window and allows preparation to begin without delay.

  • With the contract signed, the early research phase begins. This includes preliminary analysis, the review of any documents or information you choose to share, and the establishment of the evidence base needed for deeper work.

Once all essential inputs are in place, the core research phase proceeds in full, building a structured understanding of the market terrain.

  • Midway through the research, a checkpoint meeting is held to review early signals, validate the direction of the analysis, and confirm the project remains aligned with your priorities.

This session provides an opportunity to refine focus, adjust emphasis where needed, and ensure the final output will address the decisions you ultimately need to make.

  • At the end of Week 3, the primary findings are presented in a live session. This briefing brings together the evidence, interpretation and strategic implications across market potential, customer demand, competitive dynamics and recommended positioning or timing. The aim is to provide a clear, decision-ready view of the opportunity.

  • Following the presentation, you have two working days to request any final refinements or clarifications you’d like us to incorporate. Once this window closes, we finalise the document and prepare the full written report. The completed pack — including all evidence and recommendations — is delivered at the end of Week 4, together with the final invoice.
